Meet Our Team
We are Kaitlyn and Chase Thompson. Born, raised, and based out of North Texas. Chase grew up an avid bass fisherman, he competed in tournament bass fishing throughout high school and was absolutely consumed by the sport.
In 2019 Chase moved abroad and traveled the world in pursuit of new fish, new adventures, and to learn the different styles and techniques of guides from all different countries. During his time in Italy, he was introduced to fly fishing and shortly after, fell in love with it.
Chase now has over half a decade under his belt, and in that time, his passion for people has grown so much that we just can’t keep this to ourselves any longer.
Fly fishing is something we are excited to share with YOU, and we are certain, that with a little patience, a little bit of confidence, and an open mind, we can teach anyone how to land their first fish on the fly.

Trips are designed and customized to you. We want to not just help you catch fish, but to give you the trip you’ll tell your grandchildren about. From your local area, too deep in the backcountry, we have got the perfect trip for you. Trips will vary on difficulty, and no two trips will ever be the same.
The Mission
We exist to glorify God through the art, worship, and adventure of fly fishing, embracing every moment spent in His creation. Here at 419, we genuinely want to help you have the trip of a lifetime. An experience that not only excites but also nourishes the soul. But more importantly, we strive to show you how this pursuit can serve as a unique and powerful outlet unlike any other. Some people find solace in working out, others lose themselves in reading books, and some simply find comfort in talking to their pets… all of those things are wonderful. For us, however, it is through His creation that we witness His beautiful hands at work, especially in places where cell service ends and modern distractions fall away. In those moments, we find peace, recharge our spirits, and yet remain challenged by nature’s demands. We hold a deep heart for community and a sincere passion for nurturing meaningful relationships.
